We are delighted to announce that as of April 2, 2025, Prof. Josep Malvehy (Spain) has been appointed as the new President of the EADO, succeeding Prof. Claus Garbe (Germany).

Prof. Malvehy, a globally recognized expert in skin cancer, brings decades of experience in dermatology and oncology. He currently serves as Director of the Skin Cancer Program at the Hospital Clínic in Barcelona and has dedicated his career to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of skin tumors.

His leadership marks a new chapter for EADO, focused on collaboration, innovation, and continued excellence in dermato-oncology. We are confident his vision will further strengthen EADO’s mission across Europe and beyond.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Prof. Claus Garbe for his outstanding dedication and achievements during his presidency. His strategic vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment have left a lasting legacy. Under his leadership, numerous milestones have been reached and many projects have been successfully implemented. During this time, Claus Garbe has not only impressed us with his strategic foresight, but also with his strong leadership personality and ability to steer the association through both challenging and successful times.
