Scope and objectives

The EADO Task Force for Prevention and Early Diagnosis of Skin Cancer is committed to reducing skin cancer incidence and mortality in Europe by promoting awareness, advancing diagnostics, enhancing prevention, and fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals, researchers, National and International Societies, and policymakers.

The group’s primary objectives are:

  • Increase Awareness and Education on Skin Cancer Prevention
  • Promote Early Diagnosis through Enhanced Screening and Monitoring
  • Develop and Implement Standardized Guidelines for Prevention and Early Diagnosis
  • Advocate for Policy Support and Funding for Skin Cancer Prevention
  • Facilitate Collaboration and Knowledge Exchange Among Scientific Societies, Patient's Associations and Key Stakeholders
  • Ensure Accessibility and Equity in Skin Cancer Prevention and Early Detection
