Scope and objectives
Scope of the Task Force is to enhance timely access to quality treatment, at the standard of care, for all skin cancer patients across Europe.
The group’s primary objectives are:
- Support the access to innovative drugs and clinical trials for all patients in Europe.
- Educate physicians on the administration of innovative therapies for skin cancers.
- Advocate for removal of administrative barriers in the prescription and administration of innovative therapies by qualified physicians.
- Support the dermatologists‘s role and involvement through the whole continuum of skin cancer care.
The group’s activities are:
- Participate at and support EADO‘s activities of Education, Certification in Tumor Therapy, Guidelines elaboration.
- Monitor needs and gaps in access to standard of care treatments in dermato-oncology in Europe
- Constitute in a hub for innovative ideas and projects to best support national organizations to achieve the goals of access to quality care
- Bring EADO‘s support to education and advocacy activities regionally/nationally
For its objectives and activities the Task Force links and collaborates with:
Dermato-oncology experts/organizations across Europe
Dermatologists, Oncologists, other specialists and healthcare professionals involved in the management of skin cancer patients
Patients advocacy networks and organizations
Policy makers (national/EU)
